Who is he?
A pioneer in the intersection between technology, music and visual art, Filippo Gregoretti is a transmedia artist and university professor, visual artist, pianist and composer, as well as a technology expert and creator of complex algorithms and evolutionary artificial intelligences – which simulate the internal processes of a artist – inspired by geoscientific data collected in real time and by interaction with human performers, a central element of his current spiritual and artistic research.
Latest performances
TIMELESSNESS performance and installation was presented as a world premiere in Brisbane in 2024, as part of ISEA – International Symposium on Electronic Art. The work contains an evolutionary AI that creates a real-time, unpredictable and unrepeatable musical and visual flow, inspired by geoscientific data read in the sacred places of the Australian Aborigines, from the artist's musical and visual material, and from the co-creative process with the human performer at the harmonium.
