Mater Terrae it is an extraordinary action to enhance Monumental Architecture, which celebrates the beauty and fragility of our planet through the use of contemporary audiovisual languages.

After the great success of Luna Somnium in 2022, Videocittà entrusted the international artistic studio Sila Sveta the creation of the video contents of this new installation, together with a soundtrack created specifically by the Italian composer and producer Mace.

Mater Terrae is a tribute to the Earth, a constantly evolving planet, whose future depends on the active and conscious role of man. The 3000 mXNUMX immersive work, projected onto a tulle surface and visible only from inside the Gazometro, will transport us on a real journey to the heart of our planet.

By means of fast and evocative passages, we will cross the incredible essence of the Earth layer after layer. Starting from the incandescent heart of the magma, we will dive into its depths to discover the wonderful diversity of flora and fauna. Water, an essential element for life, will be represented both as a fast fluid that flows underground and as the undisputed protagonist of our vast seas.

The soundtrack will accompany us along the journey with enveloping sounds and rhythms that will blend with the energy of the wind instruments. 

A crescendo of images and sounds, created to give life to a unique and unforgettable experience, which invites us to reflect on the role that each of us has in preserving and protecting the planet.
