Who is he?
Bjørn Melhus, born in 1966, is a German-Norwegian media artist. In his work he has developed a singular position, expanding the possibilities of critical reception of cinema and television. His practice of fragmenting, destroying and reconstituting well-known mass media figures, themes and strategies not only opens up a network of new interpretations and critical commentary, but also defines the rconnection between mass media and spectators in a new way.
