Who is Alice Felloni?

Alice Felloni, born in 1985, is one visual artist which focuses its interest in augmented reality.
His digital works range fromimmersive art al videomapping architectural, from stage mapping to the creation of holographic scenography, constantly exploring new forms of visual expression that transport the viewer into a surreal reality.
 
Internationally, Alice Felloni has exhibited her digital works in prestigious immersive art museums such as the art powerhouse and in events of global importance such as FishFinder.
 
In Saudi Arabia he participated in festivals such as Noor Riyadh Light Festival, dedicated to digital art and in Dubai his works have been hosted in immersive art galleries such as the Art in Space Gallery.
 
Furthermore, He cooperated and well-known brands such as FENDI designing architectural mappings for theaters such as the Ortigia Municipal Theater and has participated in digital art festivals such as the Bright Festival.
 
His creations have also been protagonists in numerous Italian music concerts.
Since 2016, Alice Felloni has been a professor at the European Institute of Design (IED), where teaches in the degree course in Media Design and Video Design.

Why Videocittà 2024?

Students of Laura's courses in Media Design and Sound Design IED Rome, under the guidance of the visual artist Alice Felloni and the sound designer Giulio Maresca, present "Urban Jungle" at Videocittà, a digital and interactive installation which will involve the public in a collective experience. 

 

Through digital painting, live animations of the public's works and the creation of a collective mapping, Urban Jungle will transform viewers into co-creators of the work, creating an engaging digital playground. The IED installation will also have a part dedicated to artistic works created by students only and dedicated to the relationship between man and nature. Works that reflect a vast range of perspectives and styles, demonstrating how the theme can be declined in infinite nuances and interpretations.
